Ms. Ilene

As a native to Florida, Ms. Ilene spent many summers camping, fishing, and water skiing with her family. During her high school career she joined the swim team. It was through these activities she learned to respect and love the water.

After spending 18 years in higher education she decided to combine her love of the water and passion for education by opening Float First Aquatics.

She received her training and certification through PediaSwim and has become an advocate in our community for Drowning Prevention. In her off time she enjoys reading to children in our local schools as well as spending time with her own family.

What To Expect

These aren't your average swimming lessons.  Private lessons allow us to build a program around your child with a focus on making new progress everyday towards water safety.

Here is what you can expect:

  • Basic Survival Swimming program takes anywhere from 5 - 6 weeks depending on your child's progress.

  • Attendance is required 4 days a week, Monday - Thursday and are 10-15 minutes long.  Consistency is vital to your child progression through the program. Allowing your child to build trust and confidence in the instructor, while becoming more confident in the water.

  • All lessons are one on one and in a private setting.

  • Upon completion of the initial course, you'll have comfort knowing your child will possess the essentials of water safety.
